Answers

Here are Terri’s answers. The questions are here.

1.  For myself, I am more inclined to answer that I am defined by my actions but I think that’s just how I’ve chosen to live my life. Though, when I think about others I don’t think that’s as true. I still think there is some stock in the idea that we are defined by our actions but I think that’s a pretty narrow and restrictive way of thinking about life and I don’t like that very much. I would like to think that our internal world and the abstract have just as much if not more of an impact on who we are considered as human beings as actions do.

 2. I don’t really know if I believe in God. I would like to believe there is a good force that has some direction for us but I don’t even know what I would consider that. I don’t believe in a human like figure as God though.

3.I don’t identify with any religious group.

4. I’m not sure what the meaning of life is but I like the idea that we all create our own meaning in some way. I used to think it was to find happiness but I think that’s too simple. Or rather, indirect. I don’t even know what the meaning of my life is the more I think about it so I really have no clue but I like thinking about it. Thinking about it is fulfilling in itself in some way.

5. Bukowski. Aimless loneliness.

6. Lately sad but I think it’s more of a mix than I like to admit especially in my current mood.

7. When I’m not thinking about everything. When I’m around other people I truly like and am completely comfortable whoever it may be in that moment.

8. When I am trying to work through my own internal world. When I realize what my present state is and what I’m doing with my life. When I think about how completely futile most of my efforts or lack of efforts are. Feeling helpless.

When I feel completely alone and have very little interest in trying anymore.

9. Money. Power. Other people. (?) I want to say these things but I’m sure it’s just as much myself as the others but I don’t want to think so, though I do think those others play a just as active role.

10. Sleep. Writing when I have the motivation. Reading. Eating. Joking with friends. Being lazy/talking with my boyfriend.

11. I don’t want to. First instinct go with Poetry. Thoughtful answer is I can’t decide. One without the other sucks.

12. Break-Dancing

13. Movie

14. Nope

15. No drugs for this temple of a body =]

Questions

I made a questionnaire the other night at 3 am. I’ve been having my friends take it and I thought it would be interesting if anyone on Tumblr wanted to take it too. So either reblog it and answer the questions there or send it to me in an ask and I’ll post it. This is just for fun, so no pressure. I thought it would be interesting to see how people quantify and manage reality, and how people’s answers are connected. I’ll post a couple of my friends’ answers soon.
